Rockford Marching Invitational

The Rockford Marching Invitational will be held at Carlson-Munger Stadium at Rockford High School, which has been recently renovated with a high-quality turf field, a press box with a high vantage point, ample seating for spectators, and other amenities.

The RMI will include a Scholastic contest in the late morning/early afternoon and an MCBA contest in the afternoon/evening; you do not need to be a member of MCBA to participate in the evening contest and it is not uncommon for bands to participate in both shows. Exact start times will be determined closer to the performance date and depend on the number of bands participating.

How to participate in the Scholastic contest:

The required online form/application is linked below. Also linked below is a PDF version of the application for use with your school’s business department or boosters. The application and payment of $150 (made out to Rockford Bands Parents) is due no later than September 14, 2026.

How to participate in the MCBA contest:

The required online form/application is linked below. Also linked below is a PDF version of the application for use with your school’s business department or boosters. The application and payment of $225 (made out to Rockford Bands Parents) is due by May 1, 2026 if you would like your band to be included in the random order draw. .
